When it comes down to the fact of car moving you and your family
should know that there are certain things that you and your family
should do before the car moving company arrives to get the car. You
need to contact the car moving company within four weeks of you moving
so that the car moving company will know when and where to pick up
your car. The more time that you allow yourself and the car moving
company the better off you and your family is. In the case that you
wait and don’t give them the accurate amount of time to get ready for
the move you may not be able to move your car when you are ready to
make the move. You also need to make sure that you give yourself
enough time to prepare yourself for the move too.

When preparing yourself and your car for the move, there are a couple
of things that you should do to make sure that there are no delays on
the day of pick up. The first thing you should do is take your car and
clean it from top to bottom so that there is no visible signs that
your car is dirty and so that the car moving company will be able to
do a thorough inspection of the vehicle when they come to pick up your
car. If your car is not clean, they will not be able to give you an
accurate inspection and they may list damage to your vehicle that is
not even there. You want to get a good inspection so that the car
moving company will allow you the insurance that you need to cover
your car during the move.

Another thing you should also do before the pick up date is taking
your car to a mechanic and get them to make sure that you do not have
any visible signs of fluid leaks. You may also want them to check all
the fluids in the car and make sure that they are properly filled so
that your vehicle will be able to stand any weather changes that it
may have to go through. They should check the coolant fluids and the
transmission fluids not to mention the oil and water fluids. If you
are going somewhere that has cooler temperatures you may want to make
sure that your car is going to make it through the cool weather and if
you are going through hot weather you want to make sure that your car
can make it without running hot.

Make sure that you do not leave any of your personal items in the car;
if you do the car moving company will not be responsible for them.
However, the car moving company may check and make sure that you do
not leave any in there by mistake. Also make sure that you get all of
the accessories that are not built in out of the car so that you do
not give a theft the chance of getting it out of the car and doing
away with it. Also make sure that all of the alarms on the car are
disabled so that they will not go off during the shipment. Another
thing that you should make sure of is that the insurance that the car
moving company offers you will cover your car during the move. Make
sure that before you sign any papers that the information on those
papers is correct in everyway shape and form, if it is not make sure
that you correct them on it.
Car Moving & Saying Goodbye
If you are selling your car, I know it is going to be hard to say good
bye on moving day but just think that someone else is now going to
enjoy what once was yours and maybe they will find it as important as
you do. Also keep in mind that you or someone that you designate has
to be there the day that the car is delivered and if someone is buying
the car they should be there to pick the car up on delivery day.
However, you will be able to know every move that the car moving
